3-day tour to the Arctic Circle

Crossing the Arctic Circle with your own sled dog team - that's not something you do every day!

First, there will be a detailed introduction to the art of "mushing". The equipment will be stowed in the sleds and then you will glide out on the sled runners into the adventure. The route leads North through a slightly hilly landscape through forests and over frozen lakes and moors.

There will be an outdoor lunch and snacks for the dogs along the way. In the afternoon you reach your first destination - a very cozy wilderness hut. On arrival, the dogs are looked after first before the two-legged friends make themselves comfortable. Depending on which hut you head for, there is a soothing sauna in the evening.

There is no light pollution out here and when it is clear, there is an amazing starry sky and the northern lights can also be seen perfectly when they are active. In the morning, the dogs are looked after first and then there is a strengthening breakfast before you continue on silent paws through the white winter world.

Today's destination is a special one - the Arctic Circle. In the middle of nowhere, a portal marks this famous landmark, which you cross with your dog sled. What a photo opportunity! You spend the night in a wilderness hut right on the Arctic Circle.

After breakfast you go on one more tour with your dogs in the area North of the Arctic Circle. Afterwards a lunch will be served at the camprife and then you will be picked up and transferred back to the Winterdog yard by car where it is time to say goodbye to new 2- and 4-legged friends.
